The series has been directed, written, and edited by Aditya Tiwari, while production responsibilities have been jointly handled by Naresh Tiwari and Aditya Tiwari. Beyond its engaging storyline, Sarika is attracting attention for providing a significant platform to talented artists from the Bundelkhand region.
The project was filmed across Mumbai and multiple locations in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. One of the standout aspects of the series is the inclusion of several local Bundelkhand artists, allowing them to showcase their acting talent before a wider audience through the growing OTT ecosystem.
According to the creators, Sarika combines mystery, suspense, horror, and crime-thriller elements into a compelling narrative designed to keep viewers engaged from beginning to end. The production team has also placed strong emphasis on visual effects, utilizing techniques inspired by Hollywood productions to create immersive supernatural and horror sequences.
Despite working with limited resources, the makers say they have focused on delivering a high-quality viewing experience that matches international standards. The post-production process is currently in its final phase, and the web series is expected to be released soon on a major OTT platform.
Director Aditya Tiwari said that one of his key objectives is to bring hidden talent from Madhya Pradesh, particularly Bundelkhand, into the national spotlight. He also expressed his commitment to producing more films and web series in the region, creating opportunities for local artists, technicians, and emerging creators while simultaneously promoting regional culture and tourism.
